If you are looking for computer services, but don’t want to pay the high prices found at major electronics retailers, just take a look at my prices below. I can stop by your location for an On Site service, you can Drop Off your computer to my location for a reduced flat-fee service price, or we can set up a remote Online service for software or minor hardware related issues. Descriptions for the individual services are also included below.

Typical On Site services take less than two hours. All On Site service prices, with the exception of the New Computer Build, are for the first two hours. $40/hr will be added after the first two hours.
Typical Drop Off services have a one week turnaround time. Drop Off services are flat fee and have no hourly charges. After the service, you can pick up the computer or I can deliver the computer to your location for a $20 delivery fee.

Service Descriptions
Custom Computer – New Computer Build:
Includes personalized component recommendations based on your computing needs. All components are hand selected, component compatibility is verified and the lowest component prices available are researched. A system specification sheet with component prices is generated for your approval and the system is built and delivered to your location.
Installation – Software:
Includes the installation of any single software title, not including operating systems. Additional software installation included at $20 per title. Critical software updates also included. Purchase software separately.
Installation – Operating System:
Includes the installation of a single copy of a Windows XP, Windows Vista or Ubuntu. Purchase Operating System software separately.
Installation – Internal Hardware:
Includes the installation of one internal component (hard drive, memory, pci card (video, audio, etc), power supply or other internal computer component). Includes the installation of device drivers and software. Additional component installation included at $40 per component. Purchase hardware separately.
Installation – Peripheral Install:
Includes the connection and device software installation of one peripheral device (digital camera, printer, web camera, external hard drive, wireless device or other external peripheral). Additional peripheral installation included at $40 per peripheral. Purchase peripheral separately.
Installation – Wireless Setup:
Includes the connection and setup of a wireless router and one wireless connected device. Additional devices can be configured at $20 per device. Wireless router will be secured using WPA2 encryption. Purchase wireless router and device separately.
Installation – New System Setup:
Includes the initial setup of your newly purchased computer, critical operating system updates, diagnoses and recommendation of security software, performance enhancing adjustments and consultation on overall computer.
Troubleshoot & Repairs – Software:
Includes the diagnoses of software problem and recommendation of repair method for one software title already installed on system. You do not pay if the issue is not solved!
Troubleshoot & Repairs – Hardware:
Includes the diagnoses of hardware issue and recommendation of repair method for one hardware component already installed on system. You do not pay if the issue is not solved!
Troubleshoot & Repairs – Peripheral:
Includes the diagnoses of peripheral issue and recommendation of repair method for one peripheral device already connected to system. You do not pay if the issue is not solved!
Troubleshoot & Repairs – Virus/Spyware/Adware Removal:
Includes detecting malicious software and removal from system. On systems without antivirus or antispyware software, installation of such software will be required, possibly at additional cost. If found necessary, removal of hard drive from system may be necessary to run detection software externally. Caution: Data loss may occur during virus removal, so please have your data backed up properly, as I am not responsible for data loss during repair session.
Troubleshoot & Repairs – Create Restore Media:
Includes the creation of a complete system restore backup of one main operating system partition onto DVD or external hard drive. Purchase blank DVDs and external hard drive separately.
Troubleshoot & Repairs – Restore System:
Includes restoration of an operating system partition using a previously created Restore Media or manufacturer’s restore media. Critical operating system updates, diagnoses and recommendation of security software, and performance enhancing adjustments will also be installed.
Troubleshoot & Repairs – Wireless Repair:
Includes the diagnoses and repair of your wireless router and one wirelessly connected device. Additional devices can be included at $20 per device. Wireless security will also be evaluated and resolved if necessary.
Other – Consultation:
Includes personal consultation regarding tech questions you might have. This includes hardware or software recommendations or other technology related questions.
Other – Data Backup (Non OS):
Includes the creation of a data restore backup of one non-operating system partition onto DVD or external hard drive. Purchase blank DVDs and external hard drive separately.
Other – Tutorial:
Includes software or hardware training. Training interactive and not formal.
Other – Hard Drive Data Recovery:
Includes the recovery of data on malfunctioning hard drives. This does not include cases where the hard drive is malfunctioning due to mechanical failure. If you hear clicking or grinding noises, stop using the hard drive immediately! This could be a sign of hard drive mechanical failure.
Other – Custom Service:
Includes any other service not listed above. Price depends on the desired service.
Subscription – Computer Maintenance:
Includes installation of critical operating system updates, diagnoses and recommendation of security software, security software updates and performance enhancing adjustments. This subscription service can be scheduled monthly, quarterly or at another frequency.
